About Us

Absolute Machinery was founded in June 2000 by Nathan Smith and Michael Ortolano. They started off as new machinery representatives for injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment. Soon after they realized that customers were in constant need for equipment immediately, and couldn’t wait for the new equipment lead times. They invested heavily in used inventory, warehousing, service technicians, testing bays, cranes/forklifts, loading docks and more. This allowed Absolute to quickly become one of the largest dealers of used plastics machinery in North America.

In 2006 and 2013 the Absolute Group of Companies expanded again to become the official distributors of Haitian injection moldings machines and ARI robots in the US & Canada. Further expanding the purchasing options for our customers while also giving them the ability to automate.
